The Miracle League Association, established in 2001, has grown to over 300 organizations across the county including Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia. Its mission is to enable children with disabilities to play baseball in a barrier free and supportive environment. We believe that “Every Child Deserves The Chance To Play Ball”

Many organizations that have joined The Miracle League Association have built accessible ball fields, inclusive playgrounds, and running adaptive sports leagues and programs. Others are currently raising funds and/or are presently building Miracle League adaptive sports complexes and programs for their local communities.

For the first time ever, the Miracle League plans to host an All-Star Weekend that will allow each of its individual leagues to send an all-star player and his or her family to represent their local Miracle League in Houston, a city that is becoming nationally known for its adaptive sports venues and its commitment to the Miracle League.  We anticipate that approximately 120 players will represent more than 100 cities from 41 states.

We have partnered with The YMCA of Greater Houston to co-host this event.  The Miracle League complex and program in Houston is a national showcase, and we are very proud of their first-class amenities, complex, programs, and staff.

Our goal is to secure sponsors and partners that will cover the majority of each family’s costs once they arrive in Houston.  We plan for a Friday night meet-and-greet event, a Saturday player parade and eight All-Star games, and a Saturday evening awards banquet.

The Miracle Leagues across the country have many celebrity connections and our goal is to get VIPs, celebrities, and MLB players to be involved on and off the field throughout the weekend.  There will also be participation from the individual MLB clubs that already support local leagues in their communities.

At this time, we are soliciting a national media partner.  Once we secure national media involvement, this will give us leverage with donors and partners wanting to help support this amazing, first-time national event.  Our dream is to have a national broadcast of our games in addition to the possibility of a national media outlet telling our story.

More details and information coming shortly.  Our plan is to announce this to our leagues next week.  I am eager to see the excitement and interest.

Thank You,
